Meet Junia Doan

 

Junia Doan is a unique blend of East Coast perspectives and Midwest perceptions.

Raised and educated in New York, married and settled in Midland, Michigan, Junia brings a passion for life and compassion for people.

Immersing herself fully and non-stop into life, Junia has never met a cause she will shy away from. Whether it was being part of a group that raised over $2 million for the University of Michigan School of Medicine or helping the United Way of Midland County raise over $1 million, Junia has always been in the forefront of helping others.

Junia has served on the boards of the Mackinac Center for Public Policy, The Population Reference Bureau, Washington D.C., The Detroit Institute of Arts and the Michigan Council for the Humanities.

In 2002 Junia launched her own TV show, Uncommon Sense with Junia, to inspire, inform, entertain, educate and give courage to those who ask the big and small questions of life.
